In a few minutes the Dan Europe diving team will dive into the waters of Alimathà, in the Vaavu atoll, in the Maldives, to attempt to recover the bodies of the 4 Italians who never returned to the surface after last Thursday’s excursion into a cave 50 meters deep. The team is made up of three expert Finnish subspeleologists: Sami Paakkarinen, Jenni Westerlund and Patrik Grönqvist. In the cave there are the bodies of Monica Montefalcone, her daughter Giorgia Sommacal, Muriel Oddenino and Federico Gualtieri.

Over 400,000 members globally. An international network of over 180 medical specialists. An average of 5,500 emergencies handled every year. The organization is one of the regional foundations that make up the IDAN (International Divers Alert Network) and reinvests the resources generated in the research and development of tools and services for the benefit of the community.
