“Today, the Al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of Hamas, ed.), during search operations, found the body of one of the Israeli prisoners”, wrote the Palestinian militia on its Telegram channel, communicating that it was ready to hand over the hostage, the 13th, today itself “if conditions on the field allow”: a reference, the latter, to the violations of the truce which occurred today in Gaza Strip.

In fact, today Hamas violated the ceasefire with an incident between IDF fighters and terrorists who opened fire on an engineering vehicle in Rafah. In response, the air force attacked the Rafah area.

Al-Arabya reported that the IDF carried out “three airstrikes”. Thus the Israeli N12 warhead. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz receive updates on developments on the ground at a cabinet meeting. An assessment is underway between Netanyahu, the minister and senior ODF officials regarding the nature of the response and the continuation of activities in the Strip.

Hamas meanwhile rejected a US State Department statement that the Palestinian group was planning an attack against civilians in Gaza. Al Jazeera writes it. Hamas defended its attack on what it called “criminal gangs armed and financed” by Israel and operating in Gaza who, it added, were carrying out “killings, kidnappings, thefts of humanitarian aid trucks and attacks against Palestinian civilians”. Hamas said its operations were taking place according to “clear laws” and were necessary to maintain security in Gaza.

Axios, Israel informed the US before the raid on Gaza

Israel informed the Trump administration in advance that it wanted to attack in the Gaza Strip through the US Command Center that oversees the ceasefire. Axios says so, citing American and Israeli officials. An Israeli official also said that Israel had not asked for permission to conduct retaliatory attacks against Hamas.
