“Obtaining resources is important, but it is equally important to know how to use them through strategic planning and teamwork in order to make progress for the good of the City. Today, the delivery of the renovated Palazzo Saya to be used as a micro-nursery – said Mayor Basile – is one of those necessary and indispensable steps to improve the educational offer from early childhood, support families and at the same time ensure a better conciliation between family life and professional life for parents. We will continue to work to ensure a better future for our children from the first years of life”.
Deputy Mayor Mondello in his capacity also as Councilor for School Buildings and Public Works, he recalled the commitment of this Administration which, starting from 2018 with the De Luca mayorship, has gradually made progress in an important sector for the image of a City suitable for children and families. From a technical perspective, the Deputy Mayor underlined that “the interventions carried out restore a cutting-edge, innovative and totally safe structure, in addition to satisfying the growing needs of families residing in an area of the City that has become significantly populated”.
“With a view to an increasingly inclusive city – added Councilor Calafiore – it is a source of satisfaction for all of us to be able to use economic resources to allocate them to structures designed to perform not only a welfare function, but also to offer an educational environment complementary to the family, a formative space for the development of the child’s personality and socialization”.
The nursery school that will be managed by Messina Social City, “represents another social and pedagogical reality – said President Asquini – that will contribute to increasing the places in municipal nursery schools with the objective, in line with our activity, of optimizing the educational offer from early childhood and at the same time offering concrete help to families”.
