A community party to celebrate the prestigious recognition of the Blue Flag assigned to the city of Messina: the event, promoted by the Association of the historic Messina Centro in Co-Organization with the Municipality of Messina, will be held on Sunday 13 July along the coast of Santa Margherita, on a day entirely dedicated to the sea, the fun and enhancement of the territory.
The initiative was born with the aim of sharing this important result with all citizensmaking it a collective heritage to be supported and enhanced over time, also through the active involvement of the community. After the success of the sea festival organized on the Ringo beach on May 1st, it is therefore replied south of the city, in one of the most suggestive coastal areas and still largely to be discovered, with a series of activities that will develop for the whole day.

The event is coordinated by the commissioner for major events and production activities, Massimo Finocchiarowhich underlines: “initiatives like this contribute to making our natural resources live in a healthy, participated and respectful way, with moments of entertainment that combine the pleasure of being together with the enhancement of territorial identity”.
The Blue Flag Festival will take place in the spaces of the Lido “U Paninaru”, which will offer logistical support free of charge, and in the areas of neighboring beach. The program includes: animation for children and adults by Messina Social City; Beach Volley in equipped spaces, by the Team Volley sports club; Personal defense techniques on Tatami, edited by Sports Associations of Judo and Karatè; Caribbean dances space; DJ set with Maurizio present And live music with mixture two.
Activities will take place at sea: approach to windsurfing and kite-surf, curated by the Windsurf Club Messina and the Kyte-surf sports association, with the presence in water of the athletes; and promotion of the sail, by the Messina section of the Italian Naval League.
