Matteo Salvini, at the port of S. Elia, on Friday morning was able to observe with his own eyes the work abandoned for about fifty years. The Minister of Infrastructure and Transport was able to see first-hand the political inertia of over half a century. Silted up, partly collapsed and now “rusty”, the port was able to launch its cry from below.
Arriving by Coast Guard helicopter, Matteo Salvini was greeted by the regional councilor of the League Giuseppe Mattiani, who introduced him to the mayor of Montebello Maria Foti, the deputy mayor of Melito Daniela Demetrio and the councilor Giuseppe Principato.
