The new Sibartide hospital due to its complexity and size, recognized by the ministerial sectors on the occasion of the presentation of the project to obtain funding, as a structure serving a vast territory, was considered as a hospital reachable by various carriers, not only by road, but also by rail. An element on which the ministerial bodies would have focused with the technicians and regional institutions of the time expressing a judgment of unsuitability due to the fact that only narrow road access had been indicated and not also rail access as the funding was intended for a project called “Quadrifoglio” precisely to allow citizens to use it with diversified means of communication.
