And then the geographical origin of the most voted candidates, the internal balance, the desires and aspirations of individuals, the party diktats, personal relationships, the obligation to respect gender balance. In the background, barely visible but still present, there is also the “Cencelli manual”. Building the regional council is a puzzle, a game of chess and a risk all at once, in which even the most experienced of politicians can encounter many difficulties in finding the right solution.
Roberto Occhiuto is certainly an expert politician and, after leading an almost perfect composition of the lists that gave shape to a regional council practically designed by him, he has all the cards in his hand to play the game well for the council. Nonetheless, there remain some issues to be resolved.
