“Gentlemen, let’s change!”: the warning launched by the mayor Franz Caruso through our newspaper, shakes the Bruzi political circles.
The mayor has hinted that he is ready to appoint three new councilors: two to replace the resigning Giordano and the newly elected De Cicco, the other to replace the failed regional councilor Battaglia. “Before deciding,” said Caruso, “I will meet the council groups and the representatives of the parties.” And in the parties someone is buying time and apparently toning down the tone. The leader of the Democratic Party, Francesco Alimena, in fact underlines. «The discussion about the municipal council is based on press rumors. When the political discussion opens in the appropriate forums, the Democratic Party Council Group will be ready as it has always done so far on issues within its competence.”
