The renewal of the collective agreement for the three-year period 2022-24 of the school sector, which involves 1 million and 286 thousand employees, of which 850 thousand teachers, was signed at Aran. The increases are approximately 150 euros on average per month for 13 months, with peaks of 185 euros on average per month for teachers, based on length of service, and 240 euros on average per month for researchers and technologists.
The contract will allow the payment of arrears which for teachers can reach around 2 thousand euros. The signatories’ request is that negotiations begin immediately for the renewal of the 2025-2027 contract. He did not sign the Flc Cgil.
Cisl: “We are very satisfied”
«We are very satisfied with the result achieved – states the CISL Scuola secretary, Ivana Barbacci – it would have made no sense, and no use for workers, to waste any more time by postponing the closing of a contract, already expired, for which there were no longer any realistic margins for having more favorable conditions. With the logic that should always characterize a union, it is a right choice made at the right time. A choice which also makes concrete now the possibility of taking another step forward towards the objective of fuller valorisation of all the professionals working in the school, proceeding quickly with the renewal of the contract for 2025/27″. The immediate start of negotiations for the three-year period 2025/27 – the union points out – is a commitment that the parties explicitly make in a joint declaration; that there is an intention to speed up the renewal times is also demonstrated by the definition, which took place in recent days by the Civil Service, of the “mother” policy act to which the various ministries will have to refer when preparing those within their competence for the negotiations of the individual sectors of the Public Administration. Furthermore, a statement from Minister Zangrillo recently came out, saying he intends to renew all public contracts by 2026.
