A Chrysler Voyager in transit from north to south was hit by a heavy object “flying” from above, from one of the buildings close to the ring road. Moments of fear for the motorist, who stopped driving and noticed the shattered windscreen near the front passenger seat. It was 10.15pm and the woman, in a strong state of shock, raised the alarm to the police, asking for their immediate intervention. A police patrol arrived on site, carried out investigations and collected testimony and complaints from the motorist. Investigations are underway to clarify what happened, in particular, to trace who and why deliberately threw the object.
