A pack of wolves attacked a flock of goats and sheep grazing in the Molochio area, in the heart of the Aspromonte Park, slaughtering 26 heads of livestock. The news was made known by the owner of the flock, Francesco Repaci, who presented a report of the incident to the Carabinieri station in the small town of Aspromonte. According to what has been learned, Repaci managed to escape the attack of the wolves by locking himself inside his car, without being able to intervene to save his animals. Finally, Francesco Repaci reported to the Carabinieri that he had fled the sheepfold out of fear and that he had only returned the following day, taking a sad account of the attack by the wolves.
