“Reggio calls, Forza Italia responds”: the Azzurri close ranks at Palazzo Campanella and project themselves with ever greater conviction to next spring’s administrative elections on the banks of the Strait. Many – including managers, mayors and local administrators – responded to the appeal, showing up at the meeting of the three coordinations “Provincial”, “Big City” and “Youth”, led by Federico Milia, Antonino Maiolino and Giovanni Arruzzolo.
More than a “trial” of the administration of the outgoing mayor Giuseppe Falcomatà, just elected regional councilor, it was yet another springboard for Forza Italia’s desire to run for the leadership of Palazzo San Giorgio, effectively confirming the availability expressed for weeks in person by Francesco Cannizzaro. And it was the deputy and regional coordinator who concluded the political morning.
Strengthened by the consensus of around 30% obtained in the Regional elections, Forza Italia considers itself the “pivot of the centre-right coalition” and wants to exercise the leadership role also at Reggio level, where it has a real stronghold.
