Thirty years of imprisonment for killing his cousin due to family disagreements intertwined with economic interests linked to neighboring land. The Court of Assizes of Reggio Calabria (president Dr. Natina Prattico’) condemned Antonio Cuzzocrea, 56 years old. The man, defended by lawyers Francesco Calabrese and Valerio Spigarelli, with no criminal record at the time of the events, had been arrested by the police in Reggio Calabria with the accusation of being responsible for the murder of Francesco Cuzzocrea, 62 years old, known as “Nicolino”, entrepreneur and cousin. The fatal argument, which occurred in Rosario Valanidi in Reggio Calabria, dates back to 20 October 2019.
Antonia Fo was also convictedti (mother of the alleged perpetrator convicted in the first instance) to 6 months and Giuseppe Siclari to 1 year and 4 months for aiding and abetting.
The civil parties were represented by lawyers Carlo Morace and Daniele Gattuso of the Court of Reggio Calabria.
