Some call them rumors. More roars. They are the voices that come from inside the Palaces of power. The news is that these “voices” are repeating themselves over time and always with greater strength and authority. In fact, it seems that the Meloni Government has a bill on the table to eliminate the electoral extension introduced for Covid which, in fact, extended many local administrations. And it seems – according to authoritative Roman sources – that an election day is being prepared for autumn 2025. If these rumors were confirmed by the facts more or less quickly, the result would be that there would also be a vote in Reggio to renew the city council next October. This would bring the Falcomatà government to “only” eleven years, but above all it would dictate a decisive acceleration in political times for the choice of candidates for mayor and the lists that will have to accompany them in the now (almost) imminent electoral campaign.
Election campaign which, at the moment, it is not known whether it will also concern the (reborn) Constituencies that have been reintroduced and financed by the Government, which approved an amendment proposed by the Hon. Cannizzaro in the latest financial law, but which Palazzo San Giorgio has not yet found the time or the way to reintroduce (also losing the money allocated for their operation).
