The religious celebrations in honor of the Madonna della Consolazione are accompanied by traditional events, including the usual Luna Park. The rides for adults this year are located in Largo Botteghelle, a choice that has sparked protests from residents disturbed by the loud music until late at night and by the chaos generated by the multitude of people pouring into an already densely populated area.
In recent hours, a video has gone viral in which you can see a carousel, which hosts people on an oscillating disc, which in the evolution of its movement arrives a very short distance from a building in the area. A circumstance that raises questions in terms of safety, although the fact that the green light has been given for the installation leads one to believe that it can be classified as a simple suggestion and that the prospect can also be deceiving.
Doubts remain about the location of the rides in Largo Botteghelle, but mayor Cannizzaro has already made it known that from next year we will try to find an alternative solution.
