A trader was injured during a robbery in Taurianova (Reggio Calabria). Three or four people, armed with pistols and rifles, entered the premises of the fruit and vegetable market with the intention of robbing a stall owner.
Gunshots during the action, the box owner injured
During the action some shots were fired. One of these, on a rebound, hit the owner of the garage. The bullet hit him in the leg and the man’s life is not in danger.
The rescue and escape of the robbers
The owner of the box was rescued by paramedics and taken to Polistena hospital.
The criminals, after taking the money, drove away in a car. The Carabinieri and the police intervened on site and, having informed the Palmi Prosecutor’s Office, they started investigations and are carrying out investigations in an attempt to reconstruct the dynamics of the robbery.
