Night of fear in the historic center of San lucido, where two cars went completely destroyed in A fire that broke out between Thursday and Friday. The flames, flared up in the heart of the ancient village, quickly enveloped a Suzuki and a Lancia Ypsilon, belonging to two pensioners residing in the area. The means were literally swallowed up by the fire, without the possibility of salvation.
The fire quickly spread from Suzuki and then also wrapped the other small car. He aroused concern in the residents, awakened by the acrid smell of smoke and the crackling of the flames. A team of firefighters intervened promptly on the spot, who worked to circumscribe the stake and prevent it from extending further. The flames have in fact almost reached the facades of some adjacent buildings, fortunately without causing structural or injured damage.
The origin of the stake still remains to be clarified. At the moment no track is excluded, including the malicious one. Will be the investigations of the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Paolaled by the commander Marco Pedullàand the soldiers of the local station of San Lucido to shed light on the matter. The investigators are acquiring images from any video surveillance cameras installed near the area concerned, in the hope of identifying useful elements to reconstruct what happened.
