Deep shock in the school community over the brutal attack that occurred on Tuesday 9 December against the head teacher Caterina Coda, head of the “A. Scopelliti” comprehensive school in Girifalco. The woman was apparently hit by a parent, in an episode that immediately sparked indignation and reactions from regional educational institutions.
The complaint of the ANP Calabria
The attack was made known by the president of the National Association of Principals and High Professionals of Calabria, Domenico Agazio Servello, who expressed firm condemnation of the gesture, calling it “brutal and cowardly”. Servello reiterated how such episodes represent an attack not only on the person affected, but on the entire management function and educational role of the school.

Messages of sympathy also arrived from the CISL Scuola Calabria and the CISL Scuola Magna Grecia CZ KR VV, which defined the attack as “unacceptable and condemnable”.
