The municipal administration of Taormina announces news in the public transport and parking sector. At the end of an operational meeting in the town hall with the municipal services company, dedicated to the topic of city mobility and focused in particular on the reduction of short-term parking rates in the Lumbi and Porta Catania car parks and the cost of cable car tickets, Mayor Cateno De Luca anticipated some management changes.
«We are working on the development of an important reduction in tariffs in favor of resident citizens – announced the mayor – which will concern both short stops in the main structures of Lumbi and Porta Catania and the price of tickets for the return trips of the cable car which connects the center of Taormina to the seaside area of Mazzarò and Isola Bella. The reduction, in certain parking periods, will reach 80%”.
