This morning the carabinieri of the company of Soverato they executed aorder of pre -trial detention under house arrest against two subjectsissued by the investigating judge of the Court of Catanzaro at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The measures arose following an articulated investigative activity started on 8 March, after the stake of two cars and the attempt to set fire to it. The investigations, conducted by the territorially competent carabinieri station, then extended to other episodes: a further attempt to fire against a vehicle and the damage to a commercial premises, also the subject of a fire principle.
According to what emerged in the preliminary phase of the investigations – still in progress and subject to verification in the contradictory between accusation and defense – the two suspects would have used flammable material to carry out acts of an intimidating nature, linked to an alleged regulation of accounts with offended people.
The criminal proceeding is currently in the preliminary investigation phase and, as such, does not imply any guilt pronunciation.
