British police have “no indication at this time” of a terrorist motive behind the double stabbingof a woman and a little girl, in Leicester Square, in the heart of London. Scotland Yard reports, confirming that the arrested man was a lone attacker and specifying that the little girl was hospitalized but is not in danger of life and the woman suffered minor injuries. The media meanwhile tell of a heroic shop assistant, a 29-year-old named Abdullah, who intervened at the first screams of the victims to confront the attacker and kick the knife away from him.
