The 73rd Thanksgiving Day will be celebrated tomorrow in all the dioceses of Italy, which has distant origins in religious traditions and is intended to give thanks to God for the gifts of the earth and to ask for blessing on new works. The Message of the Italian Episcopal Conference for this day has as its theme: «The cooperative style for the development of agriculture». At diocesan level the Day will be held in Malvagna, in the Parish of S. Anna. It will be an important moment of prayer and brotherhood that will involve our Archdiocese of Messina – Lipari – S. Lucia del Mela. Holy Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 12 November at 11.00 am. Following this, a moment of reflection will be held in Piazza Castello with representatives of the Feder.Agri-MCL, Ucid and other associations in the area. It will be possible to visit some stands of “good practices” and other local companies.
