The first Masters1000 of his career allows Jannik Sinner to settle in sixth place in the ATP ranking, overtaking Casper Ruud, who loses two positions and is now seventh and Andrey Rublev, who has slipped to eighth position. The South Tyrolean is now in fourth place in the “Race” towards the ATP Finals in Turin. Alex De Minaur’s good race in Canada instead allows the Australian to position himself close to the top ten, gaining six positions that make him the new number 12 in the world. Felix Auger-Aliassime (14th) continues to lose ground and like him Hubert Hurkacz, relegated to 20th position. Small step forward instead for Lorenzo Musetti who gains a position. Among the Italians, in addition to the best ranking achieved by Jannik Sinner, there is also Matteo Arnaldi who continues to perfect his ranking, establishing himself as the new number 61 in the world. Matteo Gigante also made a good leap forward, victorious in the Cordenons Challenger – the second of the season -, which earned him the 162nd position in the ranking.
