The brick and mortar in Calabria continues to “work” despite the stop to the Superbonus

Despite the halt of the Superbonus, the construction sector in Calabria continues to show positive signs. This is certified by the statistical observatory of the CNC (National Joint Commission for Building Funds) which, in September 2025, highlighted a significant growth in the main indicators: ​Total wage mass: increase of +4.57% compared to 2024; Hours worked increase of +1.55%; Active workers: growth of +2.96%, reaching approximately 18,000 declared units. The only decreasing data concerns the number of companies, down by -2.77%.
And regarding the number of companies, according to Simone Celebre, general secretary of Fillea Cgil Calabria, “the reduction is a positive signal, indicating the exit from the market of companies created exclusively to intercept the incentives of the Superbonus, without a true industrial vocation”.
