The Spaniard, winner of 14 Roland Garros, four US Opens, two Wimbledons and two Australian Opens, turned 37 on 3 June and has recently lived with a series of injuries: «In this life everything has a beginning and an end », he explained, «I think it’s the right time to end what has been a long career. And much more successful than I could have ever imagined.”
