After a 4-hour flight, the plane carrying Pope Francis landed at Singapore airport. The city-state located at the tip of the Malay Peninsula will be his last stop on his 45th international apostolic journey to Asia and Oceania.

The Pope is welcomed by the Minister of Culture, Community and Youth with his wife and the Ambassador of Singapore to the Holy See and together they head towards
the Dendrobium Hall for a brief meeting. No speeches are planned. Four children welcome the Pontiff, who after the greeting of the Delegations will go to the St. Francis Xavier Retreat Centre, created to host spiritual retreats under the guidance and direction of Father Vincent Lee.
