The US army did not use anti-Bunker bombs in the raid of last week on Isfahan, one of the largest Iranian nuclear sites, because the system is so profound that the bombs would probably not have been effective. This was stated by the US chief of staff, the general Dan Caineaccording to what reported by CNN who cites three people who listened to his observations and by a fourth that has been informed of it. The issuer stresses that it is the first explanation known as to why the US army has not used the Massive Ordnance penetrator bomb (MOP) against the Isfahan website, in the central Iran.
Last week the doubts about the extent of the damage to Isfahan and other sites following the US attacks against three of the country’s nuclear plants were multiplied. US officials believe that The underground structures of Isfahan hosts almost 60% of the reserves of Uranium enriched by Iranwhich Iran would need to produce a nuclear weapon. The American B2 bombers have released over a dozen bunker-buster bombs on the Iranian nuclear sites of Fordow and Natanz, while Isfahan was struck only by Tomahawk missiles launched by an American submarine.
