The “revolution” of the internal structures of the Region, completed with the monocratic powers of the governor Roberto Occhiuto, has left more than one dissatisfied. Among these is the FP Cgil led at Calabrian level by Alessandra Baldari. The act signed by the re-elected president essentially completely redesigns the structure of the Departments with the relocation of some sectors and the creation of some from scratch. The trade union organisation, among the most representative in the Citadel area, expresses «deep concern and strong disappointment at the decision of the regional administration, or more precisely of President Occhiuto, to start a process of reorganization of the administrative structure without providing the trade union organizations with the prior information required by the current Ccnl Local Functions. An act of reorganization – it is added – directly and significantly affects the organization of work, the functions, responsibilities and operating conditions of the staff. Precisely for this reason, contractual regulations and the principles of correct trade union relations require that these processes be preceded by appropriate, preventive, transparent and constructive information towards the workers’ representatives. Failure to provide prior information constitutes a violation of correct trade union relations and represents a serious setback with respect to the principles of participation, collaboration and sharing that should characterize relations between the Administration and the social partners. It should also be clarified that the information transmitted after the adoption of the act does not in any way fulfill the obligations established by the Ccnl, since, as expressly established, the information must be preventive or it is not needed.
