«The stabilization of the trainees employed in Calabria in the ministries of Justice, Culture and Education must be guaranteed in a short time. Government and ministries must assume the responsibility of providing employment security to the over 900 workers who have provided essential services to the State for years.” The Democratic Party of Calabria, led by Senator Nicola Irto, is asking for this, intervening in the dispute which concerns – explains a note – hundreds of Calabrian operators with fixed-term contracts expiring starting from next March 1st. «These are workers – underline the demos – who have already been working for a long time in judicial offices, in cultural heritage and in schools, with part-time and fixed-term contracts. This condition is no longer sustainable. A structural solution is needed, postponements or stopgap measures would be humiliating.”

The Calabria Democratic Party then draws attention to the first imminent deadlines and requests that the commitment announced by the Ministry of Justice for the stabilization of the judicial operators concerned be implemented quickly. The Calabria Democratic Party recalls that it has already requested, with political actions promoted by Senator Irto, a response to the precarious condition of workers employed in the Calabrian state offices, indicating the path to targeted regulatory interventions. “In a region like Calabria, work – conclude the Democrats – must be a priority and we must all work to guarantee it”.
