Due to a heavy vehicle that overturned on its own, state road 18 “Tirrena Inferiore” in Marina di Santa Maria del Cedro, near km 226.200, in the province of Cosenza, is temporarily closed to traffic in both directions. Traffic is diverted onto secondary roads, as per local indications. The closure was necessary to allow roadside assistance. One person was injured in the accident, the causes of which are still being investigated. Anas teams and law enforcement are present on site to manage the road system and to allow the reopening of the stretch as quickly as possible.
