A man armed with a rifle and a loaded pistol was arrested by sheriff’s deputies deployed to Donald Trump’s rally in Coachella, California, yesterday.
Vem Miller, 49, from Las Vegas was stopped as he arrived in a black SUV near the rally and was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and a high-capacity magazine.
“This incident had no impact on the safety of former President Trump or those attending the event,” the sheriff says without providing further information. Miller was released on bail and is due in court on 2/1.
