The exhibition dedicated to Urban Art will start on Friday 15 December at 5.30 pm at the “Zancle Art Project” Gallery in via Legnano 32, where some works by Sicilian muralists will be exhibited. “Urban Siciliology: a first urban look at what will be”, open until January 20th, is an important preview, created by the Zancle Art Project Gallery with the collaboration of Alessia Tommasini. The new contemporary artistic language, linked to “Street Art”, is a world that Zancle Art Project wants to explore, organizing a series of initiatives in the city of Messina and beyond. «We enthusiastically share our journey with Zancle Art Project – declares Giovanni Cardillo, artistic director of the Gallery –, a bold attempt to illuminate the cultural fabric of Messina, a city with a thousand-year history which, in our opinion, is waiting to redeem itself, above all focusing on contemporary art and, in this case, on “Street Art”. Our commitment to social transformation through Art is like a burning flame, fueled by the desire to catalyze the creative energy of the community and unite it in a new cultural experience.” The exhibition is sponsored by the Order of Architects of the province and by the Architects in the Mediterranean Foundation of Messina. The artists present with their works are: GiulioRosk, Kuma,NessunoNettuno, Domenico Pellegrino, Igor Scalisi Palminteri.
