During the activity conducted by the State Police, aimed at ensuring greater protection of the community and public safety, the Police Commissioner of the Province of Vibo Valentia, Dr. Rodolfo Rupertifollowing a thorough investigation carried out by the policemen of the Anti-Crime Division of the Police Headquarters, issued two repatriation measures with a ban on return to the municipality of Vibo Valentia for as many subjects, measures with which it obliged the recipients, deemed socially dangerous, to move away from the municipal territory, preventing their return.
Specifically, two of the measures issued concerned two men reported by citizens as they were noticed wandering around buildings on a street in this centre. The police cars were immediately alerted and subjected to police checks, but they were unable to provide the operators with a valid reason for their presence in a residential area of Vibo Valentia, in the past the scene of several home burglaries. Furthermore, it is expected that both were burdened with, respectively, convictions for crimes against the person and against property, the provision in question was issued against them, with which they were removed from the municipality of Vibo Valentia with a ban on returning for two years.
Still within the scope of activities aimed at preventing the commission of crimes, the Police Commissioner also issued three Oral Warnings to as many subjects burdened by criminal and police records who, carefully evaluated by the Anti-Crime Division, presented suitable elements to highlight their dangerousness social, which is why they were warned to change their behavior and change their lifestyle.
