War in Ukraine, Kiev hits the Russian fleet in Sevastopol: at least nine dead

At least 9 people died and 16 were injured following yesterday’s attack by Ukrainian forces on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, occupied Crimea: the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, told Voice of America. Among the wounded, he underlined, there are also Russian generals. “Among the wounded is the group commander, Colonel General (Olexandr) Romanchuk, who is in very serious condition,” according to Budanov. «The Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General (Oleg) Tsekov, is not conscious. The number of wounded among regular soldiers who are not employees of the headquarters is still being determined. These are military personnel on duty, security personnel and so on: (these) are not included in the list I announced.”
