The draw for the Wimbledon tournament will take place today at 11:00 Italian timethird round of the Grand Slam, which will be held from 1 to 14 July on the grass courts of the All England Club. Jannik Sinner is the number 1 seed, a historic first for an Italian player in a Slam. Djokovic has confirmed his participation, while Alcaraz is the defending champion. In total, there are 15 Italian tennis players, including men (in addition to Sinner, there will be Lorenzo Musetti, Matteo Arnaldi, Lorenzo Sonego, Flavio Cobolli, Luciano Darderi, Luca Nardi, Matteo Berrettini, Fabio Fognini and Mattia Bellucci) and women (Jasmine Paolini, Elisabetta Cocciaretto, Lucia Bronzetti, Martina Trevisan and Sara Errani), who will participate in the London tournament. The Championships will be broadcast live on TV exclusively on Sky, with streaming available for subscribers via Sky Go and NOW.
Sinner risks finding Alcaraz on his way
Sinner, number 1 seed and fresh winner in Halle, is among the favorites for Wimbledon, together with his usual rivals Alcaraz, champion from a year ago, and Djokovic, winner of 7 titles at the Championships. The draw at Wimbledon is crucial due to the presence of particularly dangerous grass specialists and high-ranking players who do not like this surface. Berrettini is considered a loose cannon for everyone. Sinner could find himself on the same side of the board as Alcaraz and Medvedev.
