In the Democratic Party of Cosenza today the news is silence. After the irrevocable resignation of Matteo Lettieri from the provincial secretariat and after the proposal of Francesco De Luca as a possible leader of the Federation, no one, at least officially, chooses to expose themselves. Mouths sewn, cautious telephone calls, statements postponed, comments delivered to “let’s see what happens”. The party speaks very little. And this is precisely, politically, the most relevant fact.
The day passes between expectations, internal checks and informal transitions. Those who asked for prudence yesterday continue to ask for it today. Those who support the path started claim the existence of solid numbers, with over thirty signatures that have already been deposited with the presidency of the Provincial Assembly. Those who do not recognize themselves in that proposal prefer not to fuel the public conflict and wait for the competent bodies to clarify the situation.
