The Board of Directors of Juventus FC today approved the appointment of Giovanni Carnevali as CEO and General Director of the Club, entrusting him with the managerial leadership of the Company with the aim of strengthening the Juventus sporting and industrial project.

One of the most appreciated managers on the sporting scene, Giovanni – we read in the official note from the Juventus club – brings a wealth of significant managerial ability to Juventus. A football man by vocation and passion, Giovanni has dedicated his professional life to this sector, gaining experience and acquiring increasingly relevant responsibilities, which have allowed him to develop a complete knowledge of the dynamics that govern modern football and the prospects for evolution. In particular, over the course of his career, he contributed significantly to the growth and affirmation of Sassuolo Calcio, which over time has become a recognized example for sustainability, innovation, valorisation of talent and ability to create value, on and off the pitch. As a Lega Serie A Councilor he also contributed to the main discussion tables dedicated to the evolution and growth of Italian professional football.

Carnevali: “We will work to make Juventus more and more protagonists”

“I am proud and honored to become part of this Club rich in history and identity – underlined Carnevali – I thank the Company, the majority shareholder and John Elkann, for the trust placed in me. I face this new challenge with a great sense of responsibility and with the belief that, through daily commitment, it is possible to build a path of lasting growth and a future of success. Together with all the components of the Company we will work to make Juventus an increasingly protagonist on a national and international level in compliance of the history of the Club and the ambitions of the Juventus fans” – thus concluded the new Juventus CEO.
