“The work that the regional councilor for the environment Antonio Montuoro is carrying out in the sector of purification and the water cycle represents a model of planning and concreteness for Calabria”. This was stated by the group leader of Fratelli d’Italia in the Regional Council, Angelo Brutto, commenting on the regional plan which provides for 175 million euros of investments and around 200 interventions in the purification-sewerage sector.
“I sincerely applaud Montuoro for his constant commitment in a strategic sector – states Brutto -. From the installation of probes for 24-hour monitoring of the plants to interventions on the networks and purifiers, a daily work emerges that aims to prevent critical issues and guarantee greater protection of our sea and the environment”.
For the FdI group leader, the councilor’s action, in synergy with the president Roberto Occhiuto, Sorical, Arpacal and local authorities, is helping to bridge historical delays and support the Municipalities in overcoming community infringement procedures.
“Efficient purification means environmental protection, tourism development and better services for citizens. Thanks to the commitment of councilor Montuoro and the important investments made by the Region, Calabria is building a more modern, sustainable and competitive system, seriously tackling one of the most important challenges for the future of the territory”, concludes Brutto.
