An 11-year-old boy shot and killed his father after he confiscated his Nintendo Switch. The accident occurred – the American media report – on January 13 in Perry County, Pennsylvania.
Police arrived at the scene at night responding to an emergency call and found Douglas Dietz, 42, dead in bed. The wife was sleeping when she heard a loud noise that woke her up.
He tried to shake Dietz, but got no response. Hearing a sound like water drops he turned on the light, realizing it was blood. At that point the child, CD, said to his mother: «Daddy is dead. I killed dad.”
