Many games in one. The destinies of the Strait Bridge are played out on different fields, at various levels. The first, the most important, is that of the procedures, currently suspended pending knowledge of the reasons for the refusal by the Court of Auditors to register the Cipess resolution of last August 6th. In fact, the future choice of the Government is linked to the reading of the reasons, which has a series of options available, which however are ultimately reduced to two. 1) The hard line: ask, in any case, for the convening of the joint sections of the Court to proceed with the reservation of the resolution, a hypothesis which would give it immediate effect, after publication in the Official Journal, but which would imply the assumption of a series of considerable responsibilities, especially in the case of complaints and appeals. 2) The conciliatory line: taking note of the findings and, where possible, complying with the requests of the accounting judges, at the cost of bringing the resolution back to the Cipess for examination, which would obviously lengthen the time but could also “lighten” the climate of conflict with the Court.
