The inauguration session of the Regional Council of Calabria, the first of the 13th legislature, has been called for Tuesday 11 November: the meeting was convened, as per the Statute, by the outgoing president of the Calabrian legislative assembly, Filippo Mancuso, vice-president of the Council with responsibility for public works since Monday. The starting time is set for 3pm on Tuesday. There are four points on the agenda: the first is the «acknowledgment of the suspension and temporary replacement of the regional councilors appointed as regional councilors pursuant to article 1, paragraph 6-sexies of the regional law of 7 February 2005, n. 1 ‘Rules for the election of the President of the Regional Council and the Regional Council'”, in practice the entry of the “substitutes” (to be precise, these are Antonio De Caprio and Piercarlo Chiappetta for Forza Italia, Daniela Iiriti and Filippo Pietropaolo for Fratelli d’Italia, Gianpaolo Bevilacqua for the League, who enter the Regional Council as temporary replacements respectively for Gianluca Gallo, Pasqualina Straface, Giovanni Calabrese, Antonio Montuoro and Mancuso himself). This was followed by the election of the president of the regional council and then the election of the two vice presidents (one for the centre-left opposition) and finally the election of the two quaestor secretaries (always one in the minority).
