The head teacher of Cariati, Alessandro Turano, was the victim of an act of intimidation. Last Thursday night, the four tires of the Fiat 500 x owned by the principal, parked near the Cariati train station, were slashed. Our community is united in condemning these acts of violence and intolerance. We will be alongside him as an administration and together we will demonstrate that unity and solidarity always triumph over negative actions” said the councilor and deputy mayor Liotti in condemning the incident which left the professor perplexed. Turano who does not explain the reason for such a gesture, not excluding that “having to deal with problems of ordinary administration on a daily basis, some discontent could have been created which could, however, be resolved democratically”.
The Corigliano Rossano mobile team intervened on site for the first investigations and on Friday morning the manager filed a complaint at the Carabinieri barracks in Cariati who are investigating to trace the perpetrator of the serious act. Turano is originally from Cosenza, is 42 years old, has two degrees and took care of Melissa.
