The Carabinieri of the Catanzaro Radiomobile Section arrested a 39-year-old of North African origin, on charges of mistreatment in the family and resisting a public official.
The man, in a state of psychophysical alteration, after having attacked his cohabiting wife in the presence of his minor children, he had not desisted from violent behavior even in the presence of the military personnelwho arrived on site following a call to the Emergency Number 112, lashed out at them with kicks and punches, and was then immobilized by the operating soldiers.
The arrested person was then taken to the Catanzaro prison on the orders of the Judicial Authority.
