A political debate is starting to take shape – remotely for now – on the municipal structural plan which the Fiorita municipal administration recently published in its definitive version. In fact, a meeting has been organized next Friday at 4.30pm – “centre-right” – which will have as its theme “PSC: development and future of the urban territory” and will be held at the Glass Palace, in the Council room. The news was given by the opposition municipal councilor Eugenio Riccio (leader of the League) who speaks of «a moment of political and institutional debate regarding the important urban planning instrument of the municipal structural plan, in light of the recent publication of the definitive document, and on which a decision-making phase will open which will have to involve all the forces of the administration».
In his opinion, the PSC «can and must constitute a strategic opportunity around which the themes of urban development, urban regeneration and territorial protection can converge. It is for this reason – he adds – that, having reached this further stage of the administrative process, we thought of a moment of reflection also open to interventions by urban planners and technicians to reconstruct the state of the art and take a clear and transparent position on future intentions”.
