Catanzaro was licking his chops for two thirds of the match: the immediate benefit of Pontissothe subsequent suffering and a seemingly haunted goal route for Pisa, the doubling of Ambrosino, midway through the second half, on a lethal transition from Vandeputte. It seemed that everything aligned on another magical night also due to the perfect fit of Cremonese's knockout in Venice. Only then the Tuscans placed the one-two equalizer within 7' (Moreo and the former Marin) and the most beautiful dreams turned into a slightly more abrupt awakening, yes, but not even a nightmare. The 2-2 is a precious result, especially if we consider the many defections and the players in precarious conditions which limited Vivarini's choices.
