A cartel between Albanians and Calabrians to import and sell hundreds of kilos of narcotic substances which would also have seen Salvatore Gaetano from Crotone at the top. The prosecutor of the DDA of Bologna, Roberto Ceroni, in front of the Bologna magistrate, Letizio Magliaro, reviewed the investigation by the Guardia di Finanza which on January 15th led to the arrest of 15 people accused of having set up a criminal organization dedicated to international drug trafficking.
And at the end of his indictment, the public prosecutor asked for 5 convictions in the trial which is taking place under the abbreviated procedure. Among these, the 10 years in prison requested for 44-year-old Salvatore Gaetano, believed to be the promoter of the drug trafficking group based in Bibbiano (Reggio Emilia), stand out. The magistrate then proposed 8 years for the 24-year-old Daniel Palladino accused of being part of the association, and three further sentences: for the 45-year-old Albanian Julian Nikolla 4 years and 4 months; the 33 year old Albanian Aureldi Tafa, 1 year and 8 months; and 55-year-old Daniela Randazzo, 1 year and 4 months. Instead, Domenico Bolognino, a 45-year-old from Reggio Calabria, son of Michele, the latter already convicted in “Aemilia” and “Camaleonte” as a trusted man in Emilia and Veneto of the Grande Aracri di Cutro gang, decided to plea bargain.
