“There’s no door open, it’s January, it’s cold.” Thus Antonio De Luca, group leader of the 5 Star Movement at Ars, denies that he is once again opening up to an alliance with Cateno De Luca and South calls North.
“Someone wanted to exploit Sunseri’s participation in the Cateno De Luca event”
“To open the doors to an alliance – he writes on social media – we need clear ideas, goals, values and common paths. Otherwise it is just a sum of votes, what the center-right usually does, nothing more. This may be useful for winning, but not for changing Sicily, not for making history. I say this because my colleague Luigi Sunseri took part in a political event organized by Cateno De Luca in Caltagirone and someone wanted to exploit his participation in the press because evidently they find it convenient (maybe he needs it because he is in difficulty). Luigi participated in the event in a personal capacity to make a political contribution, as other members of my party will do tomorrow and as I myself have done on other occasions with other parties, certainly not to lay the foundations of an alliance. He said clearly that to govern Sicily and give hope to future generations, we need to know how to solve problems, and then he wished Cateno well for his political project simply this. How can you say that the Sicily 5 Star Movement has opened its doors?“.
