Weekend of intense activity for the Carabinieri of the Serra San Bruno Company, engaged in a vast extraordinary service of territorial control in the municipalities of Arena, Dasà, Acquaro and Fabrizia. The operation led to the execution of a personal precautionary measure, two complaints and several sanctions for violations of the Highway Code.
In Fabrizia, the soldiers of the local station executed an order for the application of the residence ban in Calabria against a construction worker. The provision, issued by the GIP of the Court of Vibo Valentia at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, concerns a man held responsible – presumptively – for receiving stolen goods and improperly using a credit card stolen last April from a nearby house.
The measure provides for the immediate removal from the region and the prohibition on returning without authorization from the Judicial Authority, in compliance with the principle of presumption of innocence until a final sentence is reached.
During the checks, Aliquota Radiomobile also reported two people at large: a driver who refused to undergo tests to check for possible drug intake and a man caught driving despite his license having been revoked. An administrative sanction for driving while intoxicated was also contested.
The entire device is part of the prevention and surveillance activities promoted by the Carabinieri to guarantee safety, legality and proximity to the communities of the Preserre Vibonesi.
