No consequences and no victims following the fire that broke out in an apartment on the third floor of a building in Via Gebbione, southern area of Reggio Calabria. At approximately 4pm today, the timely intervention of a team of firefighters from the Viale Europa Command, coordinated by the team leader Salvatore Vazzana, with the supervision of the provincial section head Rosario Meduri, avoided much worse consequences also given the presence of a LPG cylinder. With a tank fire engine and a ladder truck they immediately reached the affected floor and contained the flames, making the apartment safe. The causes are being investigated, but an electrical cause cannot be ruled out.
