He is only 19 years old, today, but he has already achieved goals that few of his peers can boast. Anna La Croce, a young Calabrian singer-songwriter, obtained her three-year degree in Music Teaching with 110/110 at the “Arcangelo Corelli” Conservatory in Messina on 28 October, just four months after obtaining her high school diploma with 100/100 at the Istituto Paritario ITC XXIV Maggio 1915 in Taormina. An extraordinary journey, the result of dedication, passion and talent, which made her the youngest graduate in Italy.

Music has accompanied Anna since childhood, when, little more than a child, she began to study singing following in the footsteps of her brother Keven, now a rapper with the stage name Kobra MC. After attending the “PI Tchaikovsky” Conservatory in Nocera Terinese, where he completed his pre-academic course with excellent results, he continued his studies at Corelli in Messina, continuing his university and high school studies in parallel. An undertaking made possible thanks to the “Artist for Passion” project, which allowed her to integrate her musical path with her scholastic path without ever giving up the quality of both.

Alongside her studies, there was no shortage of recognition and stages: Anna participated in events and specialization masters, and in 2023 she won the world bronze medal at the Performer Cup in category C. But behind the brilliance of the results there is also a story of inner strength. As a teenager he experienced episodes of bullying, difficult experiences that he transformed into music, finding in his songs a way to give voice to those who cannot make themselves heard.

His songs, often written together with other authors, address universal themes such as the search for oneself, loneliness, hope and the denunciation of violence. “I’m here too” is dedicated to those who feel excluded; “Love is not violence” was born in memory of Giulia Cecchetin and all the women victims of abuse; “Never silence” tells of nostalgia and the fear of distance; while “I’m looking for you” and “The wake of time” talk about identity and personal growth.

Today Anna continues her training with the Biennial in Music Teaching at the Corelli Conservatory and with the Pop-Rock Singing course at the Tchaikovsky in Nocera Terinese. With almost 15 thousand followers on Instagram, he combines artistic passion with a strong educational vocation: he wants to use music as a tool for communication, awareness and hope.

«Music is my voice for those who can’t make themselves heard – he says – I want to demonstrate that even from a small company you can go far with commitment and passion». A testimony of determination and authenticity that makes Anna La Croce an example for young people and a source of pride for Calabria.
